has been making some progress this offseason in terms of recruiting, collecting numerous offers. He is a hard runner who has that John McClane mentality from the movie “Die Hard,” as he refuses to go down. On tape we see that Green has a clear and distinct second speed that he uses to turn upfield well. Because he moves so quickly, this makes his cuts more dramatic and sudden. After watching his tape I left with the impression that he has a strong lower half, particularly for his size, based on how he is able to carry defenders who try to tackle him.

might be one of the most underrated backs in New Jersey. At 5’9”, 170, he’s built to handle contact but still explosive enough to break big runs. His tape shows elite contact balance—bouncing off defenders and finishing runs with power. He’s also a home run threat with real burst in the open field. Add in his hands and pass-catching ability, and he’s one of the more complete backs in the state. With offers from New Hampshire, Stony Brook, Delaware State, and Wofford, his stock is rising. A strong year under a new staff should launch him well inside the top 50.

is another one off those RBs you need to know, as he helped West Orange to a 9-3 record and an appearance in the section finals. Farad is explosive right out of the gate. Farad is able to accelerate quickly out of the backfield and can hit his top speed in a very short amount of time, making it extremely challenging for defenders to take the appropriate angle on him. Farad’s stop and start capabilities are arguably his most powerful skills, as Farad can stop on a dime and get out of that standstill position extremely quickly. This skill also applies to Farad’s lateral speed and cutting abilities as well, as he’s able to carve through opposing defenses with impeccable footwork. Rushing for 1388 yards and 12 touchdowns last season, expect a big jump in those numbers next season.
