is an offensive lineman that came into this past weekend with high expectations from me and lived up to them. He was impressive in the position drills, showing quick feet in his pass sets and the ability to drive with short, choppy steps when run blocking. In 1v1 drills, he stood out a lot to me. He lined up at center and was able to make his snaps quickly and step to his man before they could gain an advantage. Miller played with a ton of physicality, showing a lot of fight and the ability to continue working until he finished his blocks. Evan currently holds one offer from Union College but I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to be a very reliable center at the next level.

is a talented offensive lineman that jumped onto my radar this past season. He leads the Breathitt County offense as their starting center. Miller is a very impressive run blocker, showing the ability to snap the ball quickly and drive his man off the line of scrimmage with a sense of urgency. He plays with a ton of physicality, finishing his blocks through the whistle, resulting in several pancake blocks. Evan currently holds one offer from Union College but I expect more to come his way going into his senior year as he has the talent to be a very reliable center at the next level.

There has been some increasing buzz around the possibilities for the Bobcat program this upcoming season, and certainly some of that optimism results from Miller’s emergence as one of Kentucky’s top offensive linemen. With the athleticism and fundamentals needed to play center effectively, he demonstrates the initial step, wide base and hand placement to also play that position at the next level, but given his hip flexibility, mobility and first step, he also projects well as an offensive guard, so versatility is a strong point. At 280 pounds, he possesses the push to excel in short-yardage/goal line situations and he consistently maintains/finishes blocks through the whistle with active, disciplined footwork.

from Breathitt County. Miller does a great job of getting the snap back to the quarterback quickly and exploding out of his stance in the run game. He keeps his feet churning through contact to create movement off the line of scrimmage, often driving his man several yards down the field. Miller is a very physical blocker that makes sure to finish his blocks through the whistle. I also like his ability as a down blocker, showing the ability to wall off his defender and drive them out of the picture to create a running lane for the ball carrier. Evan doesn’t currently hold any offers but should see some come sooner than later as he has the talent to play in college and has been already receiving a strong amount of interest.
