On the offensive side, he provides assistance in the run game with sweep plays, but the Bears just try to get the ball in his hands and allow him to go to work. On the defensive side, his speed keeps him in plays. Baessler can limit opponents to throwing to one side of the field with his ability to limit any throwing lanes. Gates’s length against Baessler’s speed will make for a battle to watch.
