Erik Germann Erik Germann 6'1" | 215 lbs | LB/RB Boyd County | 2025 State KY has had a very impressive senior year at inside linebacker for Boyd County. He is very reliable against the run, showing the ability to read his keys and come downhill in a hurry to meet the ball carrier before they can get going. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he does a great job of running his feet through contact to secure the tackle. He finished the regular season as the 4A leader in tackles with 132 along with 18 tackles for loss in 10 games. Erik has also shown the ability to rush the passer, coming away with three sacks so far this season. He has also made an impact on offense, carrying the ball 60 times for 282 yards and two touchdowns. Germann currently holds an offer from Marshall and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more come his way as he has the talent to be a productive linebacker at the next level.

He lines up at inside linebacker where he is very impressive against the run. Germann reads his keys quickly then flows to the ball carrier in a hurry to make the tackle. When making tackles, he explodes through contact with a ton of physicality, not allowing any extra yards to be gained. Erik currently has 106 tackles and 15 tackles for loss through eight games. He has also come away with two sacks and has made an impact on offense, carrying the ball 60 times for 282 yards and two touchdowns. Germann currently holds an offer from Marshall and I expect more to come the way as he is a Division I caliber prospect. Erik and the Lions will be looking to keep things rolling from last week’s win with a matchup against Lawrence County this week.
