Wafzig is a young quarterback who will get to be groomed and developed in a St. Xavier program that has had a lot of success at producing college talent. At 6’2 180 pounds he has a good frame to work with. As a thrower, he creates easy arm strength. He doesn’t ever look as though he’s muscling the ball it’s always a sound and smooth motion. He throws a nice deep ball and can stretch the field vertically. Emmet is plenty mobile and can get yards on the ground when it’s given to him.

Emmett Wafzig is one of those 2030 talents that I feel will have an outstanding showing at the “RIZE” event in New Jersey! He is an outstanding quarterback talent with a high level of IQ for the game, and he knows where he wants to go with the ball and where to throw to his wide outs. He has an outstanding chance to be a standout at the “RIZE”!

Wafzig has a live arm and can make some good throws. His throwing motion is natural, and he lets it rip. He can change arm angles and fit the ball into tight spots. When he gets on a roll and is feeling it, he’s hard to stop. He was one of the few QBs who actually went through his reads properly most of the time and got the ball out on time. I like where he is right now development wise and think he’s got a chance to be a good QB for years to come.
