Walker has good length and a great build for a cornerback. He combines that size with top end movement skills. He’s a fluid runner who’s able to stay in the hip pocket of receivers. He has the size and strength to reroute receivers and breakup timing passes. He has the speed to run with the vertical routes. Walker is just a very well rounded and technically sound cornerback. I really like his demeanor on the field you can just see a quiet confidence in him that he expects to make every play that comes his way. Walker currently has offers from Miami (OH) and Buffalo. As coaches evaluate his junior film, I’d be surprised if that that list didn’t grow and he start to get some Power 4 interests and possibly offers.
Playing in a talent rich St. Xavier football program has meant that Walker has had to wait his turn in seeing the field. Well Alex has been on the field a ton as a junior and he’s flashing all kinds of ability. Walker has a smooth backpedal and has loose hips for a fluid turn to run. He has a strong break on balls on underneath routes. His ball skills really pop. He does a great job of playing the ball without contact the receiver. All in all, Walker is a great blend of physical tools and sound fundamental cornerback play. Walker currently holds offers from Miami (OH) and Buffalo. With a strong season of film under his belt I’d expect Walker will continue to add to that list.

is a very under-the-radar junior with immense potential. Walker can play press, be physical with receivers and times the ball extremely well to bat-down passes. Great use-of-hands, great speed and very instinctive defensive back who has a chance to shine at an FBS school. No offers at this time.
Alex played great as a Sophomore in 2023. His outstanding play helped the St. Xavier Bombers to a 10-win season where they averaged 27.1 points per game. He lines up on the outside as an X. He displays good quickness off the LOS and gets behind the CB with ease exhibiting great route running ability. He shows excellent hands as he makes an impressive catch in the endzone for a TD. He displays very good mental toughness as he elevates his play while in the redzone.
It was a fantastic day for the young WR from Ohio. The freshman WR made a statement early with the athletic testing and then kept lighting it up. He’s quick, twitchy off the line, has good ball skills, and just seemed to love competing. He just seems ahead of schedule compared to those around him in his age group. He did a good job taking the coaching and working on specific areas of his release off the line. He’s not the biggest WR, but again, he is just a freshman so he has plenty of time to keep building up the frame. Walker’s explosiveness with the ball in his hands is going to give defenses fits much sooner than later.
