The Bennett prospect, stands at 5’8″ 170-Pounds, displaying an undersized build for the LB Position. I want to see him reach the 200-Pound mark, as he progresses through High School, to help fill out his frame.
Film was limited, but I watched his game against Clarence. He displayed a high IQ, and good coverage abilities. I like his attempts to make plays on the ball, and his anticipation which allowed him to jump multiple routes on the field. He is a good tracker, and displays good footwork, while moving sideline to sideline to make tackles.
Whitfield, is more of a coverage linebacker in my opinion, but his athleticism, and IQ, can turn him into a deadly playmaker, as he progresses through High School.
