Lincoln East’s Elijah Gutz Elijah Gutz 6'2" | 215 lbs | EDGE/DL Lincoln East | 2026 State NE continues to solidify himself as one of the premier pass rushers in the ’26 cycle with a hot start to the season. Elijah has recorded seven sacks through four games, which is tied for the most in the state. Gutz has also posted 17 total tackles and 11 TFLs to fill out his stat sheet. Part of what makes Elijah so effective is his quickness off the line. He has a twitchy first step and has the length to extend and make the initial contact at the point of attack. He uses great leverage and a powerful base to keep himself from being moved off the line while also knowing how to use his hands to disengage from blocks. Elijah is relentless in his pursuit, with great ball-tracking ability, as he fights through blockers and does an excellent job closing on the ball quickly to shut down big gains. Constant presence in the opposing backfield with a knack for making splash plays! Massive steal at this point in the recruiting cycle!
