Eli is a useful athlete in this article because he could be a DB or WR selection. We are going with him as a WR here. The ’27 is such an explosive athlete. He can take the top off of the defense on any snap and forces defenses to rotate to his side of the field to provide help over the top. Even if he isn’t stretching the field Eli has the speed and vision after the catch to be a nightmare to try and contain. Get this kid the ball in his hands and let him completely take over the game.

I am so excited to follow Eli’s camp season and hope to get a chance to watch him compete in person. Eli is going to put on a show from the start of the combine to the final whistle of every event he is at. The 2027 dominates on tape with his outstanding speed, body control, burst, and quick twitch athleticism. It gives him the ability to thrive at WR and DB. I can’t wait to see some verified athletic numbers for the 2027. The one on one battles should be a great showcase for him too because on top of the advantage that his athleticism gives him, Eli has natural hands and plays the ball in the air effortlessly. The camp circuit is the perfect stage for Eli to fully show off his best abilities.

The 2027 is coming off a season with 5 INTs and another 4 PBUs. It is hard for CBs to lead in this category because teams will usually stop testing them over time, but Eli has the tools and will only be a junior this fall. Eli finds ways to get his hands on the ball, has hands to create turnovers, and has the athletic gifts to be able to run with any WR and adjust to the ball last second. I’m excited to see the junior put up big numbers on both sides of the ball this fall and also as a return man.

I was very impressed by the sophomore DB/WR/Returner out of Edgerton while watching his Hudl highlights. It is highlights that are created by his excellent base of athleticism. From his speed to his short area burst and agility. That paired with his vision and instincts make him an elusive athlete with the ball in his hands. It also allows him to recover in coverage or change direction, or go track down the ball for a turnover. Eli’s sophomore highlights show a kid that has developed a strong playmaking ability. He has the ability to change the game with or without the ball in his hands.
