As a junior, Caudill lined up at safety where he was very reliable in coverage. He does a great job of reading route combinations and reacting accordingly to put himself in position to make a play. Once the ball is in the air, he breaks with perfect timing and has shown the ability to cover a lot of ground quickly to get to make a play on the ball. Caudill finished this past season with six interceptions (tied for 2A lead) in 14 games, returning two of them for touchdowns. He also showed the ability to fill the lane in a hurry to provide run support, recording 90 tackles and one tackle for loss as a junior. Caudill also made an impact on offense, running the ball 15 times for 171 yards and three touchdowns while also catching two passes for 88 yards and a touchdown. Eli is a player who I expect college coaches to have on their radar this offseason.
