About Duncan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a dual-threat quarterback with the ability to beat defenses through the air and on the ground. I’m comfortable extending plays, making smart reads, and delivering accurate throws under pressure. I perform at my best in high-pressure situations and take pride in staying composed, making quick decisions, and leading my team when it matters most.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a confident and composed leader who stays calm under pressure. I hold myself accountable, stay disciplined in preparation, and lead by example on and off the field. I’m competitive, coachable, and focused on putting my team in the best position to win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m actively involved in FCA, SALT (Student-Athlete Leadership Team), and Unified, our school’s special needs inclusion program. Through these organizations, I’ve developed leadership skills, built strong relationships across campus, and taken pride in serving others. Being involved off the field is important to me because it reflects my character, accountability, and commitment to leading.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m always working to grow as a leader both in football and in life. As a quarterback, I focus on communication, accountability, and leading by example. Off the field, I’ve participated in volunteer opportunities with our local youth football organization and have served my community by helping pack Thanksgiving meals for families in need.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced challenges that tested my resilience, but each one helped me grow as both a quarterback and a leader. Whether it was tough losses, high-pressure moments, or competing for a starting role, I learned how to stay disciplined, trust my preparation, and respond with maturity. Those experiences strengthened my mental toughness and made me more focused and accountable.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I can compete at a high level, continue to develop as a quarterback, and contribute to a winning culture. I value a program with strong coaching, a focus on player development, and a positive team environment. Academics are also important to me — I want a school where I can grow both on and off the field and prepare for life after football.
