Seaforth may have found something for the next several years with a few talented underclassmen. Though undersized, Greiner played a hybrid role for the Hawks, racking up 44 solo tackles, good for second on the team. He was excellent in conference play, making more plays around the line of scrimmage down the stretch. That’s a great sign for his future development.

Greiner played more as a linebacker than a safety for Seaforth, and he excelled as a freshman, earning all-conference honors for his play. He racked up 89 tackles and flashed great zone coverage skills, using impressive quickness to step in front of passes. I’ll be interested to see how his body develops, but the instincts are undeniable.
