University City two-way star Dreyden Garner Dreyden Garner 6'1" | 185 lbs | ATH University City | 2025 State CA announced his commitment to Sacramento State on December 27.

Garner announced a top five in March that did not include Sacramento State and he visited UNLV during the season.

He caught 52 passes for 1042 yards with 14 touchdowns this season and added an interception on defense.

Garner is one of 15 players from California in Sacramento State’s 2025 recruiting class including a bunch of guys who committed this past week.

Garner took in an unofficial gameday visit with Cal in early October. The #2-ATH in PRZ CA’s 2025 class has continued to produce at a high level since transferring from Lincoln to University City for his senior season. He’s totaled 774 yards and 9 TDs on 34 catches along with 29 tackles on defense. Garner also took a visit to UNLV in late September and is one of the top uncommitted 2025 prospects left on the board.

Garner took a gameday visit to UNLV to close out the month. The 6’1″/185 ATH is one of the top uncommitted prospects remaining in California’s 2025 class. Interestingly, UNLV was not one of the school’s listed in Garner’s top-5 back in March so this could mark a big late push from the fast-rising West Coast program. Garner’s totaled over 500 receiving yards and 7 TDs through five games this season.
