Tuala is a very active linebacker that can play inside or come off the edge and is explosive off the ball, bends well around the corner and is a physical tackler that can track down ball carriers backside and takes good angles in the open field. He has a long and strong frame that should end up turning him into a edge player in college with plus length and it should be a seamless transition from his inside linebacker position as he can already rush the passer and plays with violent and active hands. Heading into his Junior year, Tuala is one of the top players at his position across the region in the 2028 class and he should be drawing plenty of college attention here late.

Tuala is a versatile second level defender that can play inside linebacker or defensive end and has heavy hands, a high motor and is seemingly always around the ball. On tape he shows he can come up and set the edge and take on blocks, quickly shed and redirect to ball carriers and has some pass rush abilities off the edge as well with fluid hips and a variety of moves in his toolbox. Although he has been very productive through the first part of his prep career, he still has plenty of room for growth and development over the next two years and has the frame and length/athleticism for the next level and should start drawing attention once his Junior season gets under-way next fall.

Tuala is a very twitchy and explosive edge rusher that has tons of upside and growth potential due to his frame, overall athletic abilities and length. He is violent off the ball and extremely technically sound especially for his age. He is a high motor kid that runs well and is very quick twitched off the edge, while showing he can win with both speed and power and make plays behind the line with ease. Heading into the Fall he is one of the best kept secrets along the defensive line in the 2028 class and should have a breakout sophomore campaign for University City.
