A speedy, quick-reacting defender who plays hard and closes quickly on the ball-carrier, Williams is one of the more underrated linebackers in Cherokee County having an excellent junior season so far. The playmaking defender has made 52 tackles through his first five games with eight TFLs, three sacks and 12 QB pressures. He’s a promising pass-rusher with above-average athleticism and a natural feel for the position. Look for Williams to see his recruitment pick up down the road if he continues to improve and show off his versatility the rest of the season. He’s a promising linebacker with his best football still way ahead of him.
