A senior quarterback to keep a close eye on this weekend from Cherokee County, Martin has played efficient, winning football all season long this year for a really strong Sequoyah team. They love to run the ball with one of the best backs in the state, but Martin also has the ability to make plays through the air. He’s safe with the football but still has enough arm talent to make a big throw when he needs to. He’s thrown for 1,552 yards and 16 touchdowns while also helping out in the run game. Martin has led the offense to at least 30 points in every game but two this season and is coming off a strong round one win over Creekview. Look for Martin to be at his best when Sequoyah plays Newnan.

A sleeper quarterback in the 2026 class from Cherokee County, Martin is an efficient quarterback who has played consistent, winning football all season long, throwing for 1,935 yards and 19 touchdowns with just two INTs this fall. He’s led his Sequoyah team to two big playoff wins so far and will hope to do it again in round three against Coffee. He’s a new quarterback to keep an eye on in the 2026 class who will be added to the next rankings update.
