Holloway is a well-kept secret on the north side of Davenport. The senior is being heavily under-recruited relative to talent. A big final prep campaign can open some eyes. More should have been opened by an 11th-grade season in 2025 that saw him collect 65.0 tackles, 49 of which were of the solo variety. His 15.5 tackles for loss and four sacks represented signs of disruption. Holloway is a quick-twitch athlete lining up on the second level of the Wildcat defense. Lateral quickness and straight-line speed lead to him getting downhill and to the football in a hurry. Long arms, a projectable frame and athleticism reveal a high ceiling for Holloway. He also could fit a a safety or hybrid spot on in college and would be a special teams’ asset.

adds himself as another standout for a unit that has been regaining their competitive status over the last few seasons following a slump. Holloway has made his presence known as a LB/DB hybrid, recording 2nd on the team with 65 tackles to go with 15.5 TFLs, 4 sacks, and a fumble recovery. Holloway intrigues me as a player who could line up as an OLB, ILB, and Nickel defender who can effectively shut down the run, force pressure in the backfield, and being to lock down the perimeters with great sideline-to-sideline range. Holloway brings a lot to the table, and perhaps with more tape on his pass-coverage skills could really boost himself as a well-rounded hybrid defender.
Holloway lists quarterback as his position on his sophomore highlight video but it would be a mistake to limit him to one position. He reveals excellent athleticism during his clips, where he especially stands out as a versatile defender. Holloway ranked among his team leaders in tackles (39.5) as a sophomore last season. He had 30 solo stops, 7.0 tackles for loss and a pair of sacks. Holloway caught three passes as a receiver and recorded an interception on defense. With speed and physicality, safety looks like a natural position for him.
