Anzalone went in to 2024 as one of the top QB prospects in WNY but he suffered a season ending injury in the first game of the season. Prior to that, he showed solid tape as a sophomore where he threw for 1,500 yards and 20 scores while earning All Catholic honors.

Standing at 6’1″ 220-pounds, Anzalone has an above-average build for the QB position. Following his Sophomore season where he tossed 20 touchdowns, Anzalone was injured in the first game of his Junior Season. Bishop Timon-St. Jude went 3-7 last season showing how much he meant to the team.
Looking at his Sophomore film, he displays elite pocket presence, and stands tall while taking hits and delivering throws. He hs solid arm strength and solid accuracy and can deliver balls on target on a majority of throws.
I expect Anzalone will improve in his final season as he has the tools and a full offseason to rest, recover and improve in all aspects.

After an exceptional sophomore season where Anzalone threw 20 TDs, Dominic got hurt in the first game of his junior year. Timon felt his absence and missed the fire power he brought to the table. With a full year to recover, I expect Anzalone to pick up right where he left off in 2023.

Anzalone missed most of this season due to injury, but his SOPH tape and seeing him throw live last summer at a DB clinic keep me confident in his ability and where he belongs in these rankings.
Athleticism: Anzalone did not run a ton when he started as a Freshman, but as a Sophomore, his athleticism was an asset in the run game. Not only can he navigate outside the pocket when things break down, but he has the size and athleticism to be a factor in the designed QB run or zone read the game at the next level. He is not a burner, but he shows some burst and the ability to turn the corner on guys.
Ball Placement: I can only speak on what I have seen on tape and in person, but there are some throws on tape where the ball placement stands out on tape. A majority of Anzalone throws on tape, Anzalone is not just hitting guys but getting the ball in the ideal spot for guys to catch and turn upfield in the sequence of their route or when throwing toward the sideline, putting the ball in spots that are away from the defender.

Anzalone returns as one of the top Quarterback prospects in the 2026 class. Already with an offer from Saint Francis, the dual-threat prospect was excellent last season for Timon, coasting them through the season to an 8-1 record. On tape he flashes a strong arm, the ability to change his arm angle and make throws in between pockets of defenders by changing velocity and loft to his balls. As a runner, he is big and strong and flashes some speed when he gets moving. He took a solid step forward from Freshman to Sophomore season adding the running to his game, the next step will be continuing to develop as a passer – accuracy and efficiency.

Anzalone checks the size box, showcases a solid arm, and can extend plays with his feet. Anzalone shows solid pocket presence and effectively makes throws at the short and intermediate levels. Anzalone can be a very effective runner and could even impact the game more if he ran more often, both scrambling and in the designed QB run game. Anzalone has the size to help wear defenses down running the ball but shows the poise to make plays under pressure.

is a 2-time All-Catholic selection, as well as All-State and all Western New York honoree. He has a strong arm and quick release. But he is also a threat with his legs when his receivers are covered. He enters his junior season with 2,673 career yards and 30 touchdowns, including 20 in 2023 that led the Monsignor Martin League. Anzalone has good size for the position and will continue to impress scouts with his great throws and leadership. Collegiate offers should start coming his way in 2024.

A two year Varsity starter since his Freshman season in 2022, Anzalone led the Tigers to back-to-back B Division titles. Dominic has a 14-4 record as Timon’s starting Quarterback, accumulating 2,673 passing yards and 30 TDs, including a league leading 20 touchdowns in 2023. He possesses great arm strength and a quick release but his ability to throw on the run, whether it is to get away from pressure or a designed bootleg, is remarkable. Given his size (6’1 205 lbs),

out of Bishop Timon/St. Jude is the only guy on this list with significant legit varsity experience. Anzalone was a full time starter and one of the best quarterbacks in western New York this fall. Anzalone does a really good job of consistently making plays that he should and even showcasing some really quality ball placement down the field. Anzalone is not a huge threat on the ground but he is a really good athlete who can move and adjust in the pocket or get some chunk yards past the line of scrimmage.
