About Dexter
Expert Analysis
Marcus Henry | Prep Redzone Scout
Dexter is heading to high school as a versatile and dynamic playmaker, capable of making significant impacts on both sides of the football. Possessing a long, lean athletic frame, Walker combines good speed with powerful running, making him a formidable presence at running back. His ability to cut back effectively and glide through holes showcases his excellent vision and natural running instincts.
On offense, Walker is a powerful runner with the agility to navigate tight spaces and the speed to break away in the open field. His vision allows him to anticipate defensive movements and find the best paths to maximize yardage. This, combined with his cutback ability, makes him a constant big-play threat whenever he touches the ball.
Defensively, Walker excels at the free safety position. His great range and excellent field vision enable him to cover large areas of the field, making him a key player in pass coverage and run support. His instincts and ability to read the game help him to anticipate plays and make crucial interceptions and tackles.

will be playing when he eventually hits the varsity field for Allen High School, but he looks like he’s going to be a player that makes difference on the field. Right now he’s listed at 5-foot-11 and 165 pounds (unofficially) and plays running back and linebacker. Watching him on film, he dominates offensively coming out of the backfield. With such a big, long frame and bucking legs while he runs, the immediate comparison I draw is to watching future NFL Hall of Famer, Adrian Peterson. He easily breaks arm tackles and runs with evident power on the second and third levels of the defense. On top of his ability running the ball, Walker can catch the ball out of the backfield and create too. I list him as an ATH (athlete) because of his presumed size and frame–he’s already big and physical, which tells me he may grow out of the running back position. Either way, he has all the athletic tools to be an impact player.
