As of January 2025, there aren’t too many Running Backs that are more 3D (disciplined, dependable and dangerous) than Coppell Middle School North’s LaKenton Jackson. Literally looks like he’s carved out of stone with an action figure build at 5-foot-9 and 175-pounds. Was good for multiple rushing or returning touchdowns per game in 2024. Balance and explosion are elite. Blends strength and physicality with Junior Olympian track speed. Consistently ran through arm tackles and either created, or found, running lanes between the tackles.

Some players your eyes just gravitate to before they even step on the field because of their disposition. Lakenton brings that energy by being built like a little Greek god with laser focus. This young man is explosive and knows how to use his low center of gravity to his advantage by running to and through contact. He has a knack for being in the right place at the right time and finishing plays. It comes as no surprise when he claimed Top Performer at our camp in Texas, was a stand out at the Texas Tech camp, and most notable will participate in the UA All-American game receiving his invite this spring. If that’s not enough…he holds multiple track records (Jr. Olympics) and wrestles. This freak has all the tangibles to continue the standard in the Lone Star State.
