Top recruit is a great player with an excellent frame, size and speed combination. Tough inside linebacker who flows to the ball, can shoot through gaps and rush the passer. Great against the run, can lay some big hits and be very physical. Good block shedder who plays with good bend and leverage.

Singletary had an explosive season, bringing a rise of 104 spots in our rankings. Singletary is a bendy pass rusher who can beat you with his quickness and athleticism. He does have pop in his hands to move you back, but his ability to get a hand inside and bend under tackles is his best ability. He has a variety of pass-rush moves, and he is violent when using them with his explosive get-off.

Singletary holds four MAC and FCS offers but just one from a Power 4 program (Kentucky). Expect that to change when college coaches hit the road. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound prospect has played both EDGE and linebacker, flashing good positional flexibility. He is very explosive, flashes a quick first step, and is a player opposing offenses have to account for. He will likely shoot up elite BCS teams’ recruiting board after this fall.
