Playing off-ball linebacker for 6A Coon Rapids against Big School, big boy competition, rising senior Demario Garcia Demario Garcia 5'8" | 175 lbs | LB Coon Rapids | 2027 MN sure punches above his weight class, especially in run defense. Garcia can square up and stick RBs in the hole while preventing extra yards after contact, as you can see from the first and fourth rep of his junior highlights, and he sees, reads, and flows to the ball smoothly and effectively between the sidelines. Garcia displays good play speed and an impressive motor, is a solid 1v1 tackler, and he does a good job of not getting tied up by climbing OG and staying free to make tackles around the box and sideline to sideline. Hope to see Garcia this camp season, as well as at the PrepRedzoneMN Spring Exposure Showcase series’ stop in Plymouth on April 18th!
