Cyril had some of the crispest hands I got to watch out of this 2027 group I watched on Monday night at Blaine as one that was quite persistent in the hands department regardless of where the ball was thrown, he found a way to reel in with his hands on the ton of reps I got to watch. He also showed off more length than I was expecting off the intial eye test as Cyril has a long upper body to reach for those balls that might be slightly out of reach for other receivers with his size profile. He also was quite fluid in every rep he took in that I watched on all three levels. He’s another NW metro wide receiver that I feel is significantly under the radar with one offer from Bemidji State, but has a pretty stacked July camp schedule that should give him more exposure on his recrutiing trail upcoming.

One of the biggest stock risers of this current offseason had yet another strong and memorable in-person showing at Sunday’s PJ Fleck RTB Prospect Camp. Lifaka, who solidified his track speed and game-breaking explosiveness this outdoor track and field season, was nasty and consistent at creating separation at the top of the route. Lifaka flashed quick feet and the ability to unlock his hips to really make it difficult for DBs to read and react, and his understanding, experience, and confidence in the route tree was showing up well in the number of 1v1 wins he earned in Dinkytown. Plus, he showed some impressive contested catch ability in some reps against sticky DBs. Real-deal DII WR prospect!

Nothing like some verified speed times to force your way onto the recruiting scene! Prior to the 2026 outdoor track and field season, Coon Rapids’ 2027 Cyril Lifaka Cyril Lifaka 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR/DB Coon Rapids | 2027 State MN was very much under the radar. A seasoned vet on the MN 7v7 circuit who caught the attention of PRZMN this winter on the unpadded offseason circuit, but 7v7 can be hard to put into an overall recruiting context, so it’s safe to say PRZMN was pleasantly surprised to see Lifaka start to putting up some eye-catching track & field numbers this spring. Credit to Bemidji State, who evaluated and offered Lifaka early, and before the track & field success really went public, but the Coon Rapids‘ product has made the BSU offer look very smart, posting PRs of a 7.18 60M indoor, a 10.95 100M, 22.19 200M, 51.08 400M. Lifaka also runs the 4×100 relay, 4×200 relay, and 4×400 relay with the Cardinals.

Lifaka is a splash play producer from the WR position, and while playing against 6A competition in 2025, he displayed game-changing burst and 0-60 acceleration as both a route runner and with the ball in his hand. Lifaka demonstrates good vision and can see the cutback well, nifty footwork in his releases, and he can win contested catches and track and plays the ball well in the air. I really like his powerful cuts and how the 175 lber. can generate noticeable force when he stinks his foot in the ground, plants, and changes direction. Lifaka can make free defenders miss, and miss in exciting fashion, I may add. The vision, twitchy footwork, and impressive contact balance for his size = electric in the open field. This kid will gain some popularity this summer!

Representing the Coon Rapids Cardinals and Next Level Athletes‘ 7v7 18U squad, PRZMN has become quite accustomed to seeing the junior make plays in the offseason circuit. Lifaka forced an INT on a beautiful and twitchy break on the ball from the NLA defensive backfield, and it was a joy to watch his smooth, jittery YAC COD ability, as he was putting defensive backs on skates in the open field. The more space the merrier for Lifaka; yet another strong 7v7 showing from the Coon Rapids product.

Fun 2027 talent out of Coon Rapids and the Next Level Athletes 18U squad in WR Cyril Lifaka Cyril Lifaka 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR/DB Coon Rapids | 2027 State MN . The junior popped off one of the plays of the night on a beautiful back-shoulder play on the ball for a TD late in the NYE 7v7 Open Run to show some excellent awareness and body control, and he owned quick feet, good releases at the LOS, and some shiftiness as a route runner and after the catch. Also had a wide-open TD catch against MN Elite. Good start to the offseason for the rising senior!
