had a good year playing as a guard for Northern Allegheny last year. His ability to fire off the ball and block defensive linemen is excellent. He has good strength, so he can block in both the run game and the passing game at a high level. Flaherty also has good fundamentals as he fires off the ball from his stance and starts at a high level. Flaherty should only improve going into his Junior season.

is a good interior offensive lineman who played as a guard for Northern Allegheny. He is an excellent run blocker who has a good ability to block in many different types of run schemes. He shows a good ability as a combo blocker on double teams. He is also excellent at pulling. He does a nice job of pulling and kicking out defenders. Flaherty is an excellent offensive guard who just needs this off-season to get stronger, and he should be an even better player next season.
A new name on our rankings, debuting just nine spots away from the Top 300. Posted a three-minute tape on Hudl four months back.
First notable rep has Flaherty flattening an off-balanced defensive lineman for a pancake stationed at left guard. Second rep has Flaherty showing off great leg drive and a motor that revvs to finish blocks to the whistle. Is nimble, small for many D2 coaches, yet Flaherty has time to grow a few inches as well as gain a substantial amount of weight. Can get deep into a knee bend to absorb power and counteract it. Strong lower back, you can see back bend on occasion. Can serve as a serious pulling paver if he can get out of his stance balanced. Flaherty can gather momentum with just 2-3 powerful stride to deliver shocks to opposing play-side defenders. Excited to see how he grows in terms of build.
