Olotu-Judah is technically sound, he has clean footwork, he transitions into his backpedal smoothly and his ability to plant and go with receivers enables him to shut down passing lanes. He is a sticky defender who uses his length well at engagement to stymie receivers in press coverage and this allows him to get them off of their axis early in their routes. In a week win over Dickinson, Olotu-Judah had 3 interceptions, making big plays for the Tigers defensively. Keep an eye on him this week as the Tigers open up district play against Tompkins.
After a huge performance last week with three interceptions, David is looking to keep elevating his game heading into Week 3. He showed great instincts and played tight coverage, consistently putting himself in position to make plays on the ball. With momentum on his side, expect David to continue building on his strong start.
David is rising up the scene who will continue to build momentum this summer. In man coverage, david competes at a high level; he also doesn’t shut away from stay tight to receivers through their routes. He shows good recovery ability when he tested vertically and does a solid job staying balanced through breaks. What i also love about david, he isnt afraid to come down and make tackle. David currenlty hold offers from Kansas, Arkansas, Cal and more.
David plays the game with confidence, heart, and a noticeable swagger that shows up every snap. What stands out on film is his competitive mindset — he trusts his technique and isn’t afraid to challenge receivers in one-on-one situations. He plays sticky in coverage, staying attached through routes and fighting at the catch point.
His instincts allow him to read the quarterback quickly and break on the ball with urgency. He brings energy to the defense and competes hard in both coverage and run support, showing willingness to come downhill and finish tackles. That combination of attitude and effort makes him a player teammates can feed off.
