About David

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m an explosive and agile defensive lineman with a quick first step, using my speed to disrupt plays.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a team player who always tries to help out my teammates, but when things get tough, I can get a little frustrated and angry. I care a lot about winning and doing my part, so sometimes my emotions get the best of me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

yes i work with Fargo parks in Fargo, ND. I am also in the shanley weight lifting club

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a starter for most of my football career, I’ve learned a lot about leadership and teamwork. I’ve helped newer players with tips and been there to support them. I focus on being a good teammate and keeping the team positive for most of the time.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced a challenge during strength and conditioning camp when I injured my left wrist, which is my dominant hand. I couldn’t lift or do certain exercises for a while, but I pushed through and focused on what I could still work on. Other than that, nothing too serious.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with a team that can help me improve my game and stay healthy. I want a program that will support me both on and off the field, especially academically, so I can grow as a player and as a person.
