He is a powerful, physically dominant offensive guard who excels as a run blocker. I like his ability to control the line of scrimmage and finish plays. Reed, who lines up at offensive guard, combines size, lower-body strength, and surprising mobility to create running lanes at all levels of the defense. It’s worth noting that he also plays defensive line where he plays with power. Reed’s anchoring ability make him a space-clogger in the middle. He consitently wins his individual battles with raw strength. It’s no surprise that he finishes his blocks with authority, in effect, pancakes. Reed’s highlights show that he’s very effective when down-blocking or sealing the interior. HIs ability to finish blocks, move defenders, and pull in space are the things that have set him apart from other offensive linemen in his class.
