is a physical specimen on the outside of the defensive line. Tall, long and possessing a thick frame Nixson has the makeup of a pass-rusher at the next level.
Whether it’s as a stand up EDGE rusher, a three-point stance defensive end or as a three-tech defensive tackle, Nixon should be able to make an impact at a variety of levels in college. If he continues to churn out production in terms of TFLs, he could get some D1 attention and, at the very least, a look from some JUCO programs that believe they could turn him into a D1 prospect.

looks poised for a breakout senior campaign. Yes, he put up 37.5 tackles, including 9.5 TFLs and two sacks last fall, but Nixon looks like he could take it to another level in 2025.
Like Kalolero, Miles expects a big season from the 6’3″, 235-pound DL, and if that comes together, Nixon has the frame to get some serious attention from D1 programs.

Opponents needed to account for Nixon in 2024. Even when they did, he disrupted what they were trying to do. Nixon finished the campaign with 37.5 tackles (21 solo, 9.5 TFL) and a pair of sacks. During his junior highlight video, he shows an impressive burst off of the snap. It’s tough to lock him up because of his combination of quickness and strength. Nixon maximizes his gifts by playing technically sound. He operates within the scheme, carries out his assignments and plays with balance. Nixon is comfortable and effective coming off of either edge. As productive as he was a year ago, it feels like Nixon is a ways from reaching his ceiling. That’s good news.
