There is no doubt in our mind that Pocola wide receiver

is the most unique prospect in the state’s 2025 class. Terrell stands at 6’8 and can absolutely fly in the open field but again, he’s 6’8 and we just haven’t seen very many 6’8 prospects have success as a pass catcher at the next level. But you throw on the film or see him in person and what he’s able to do as a receiver and even as a kick returner is something that is incredibly unique. This offseason, Terrell emerged as one of the top overall prospects in the state’s 2025 class. He was still considered as one of the top basketball prospects but eventually chose football and committed to Missouri.

is one of our favorite prospects in the state’s 2025 class and it’s very simple why. He’s a rare gem that we simply don’t see very often. We’ve said that Terrell feels like a “unicorn” in Oklahoma high school football because you don’t see players that are 6’8 move the way he does on the football field. Terrell is becoming more and more comfortable with being a legitimate star football prospect and he’s also a legitimate D1 basketball prospect. But Terrell has joined an elite company as a top ten overall prospect in a very deep and talented 2025 class. He is at the top of the list of a prospect that we want to see in person at some point this season.

is the newest member of the top ten in the state’s 2025 class. He’s been a prospect to watch for a while now but this offseason has been a wild one for the small school standout. Terrell went from being an intriguing prospect to a guy that had offers rolling in from the reigning national champion and other top college football programs. It felt like in the span of just a few weeks earlier this year, Terrell emerged as one of the state’s top football prospects. We mentioned this on social media but we’ll say it again here. Terrell feels like a unicorn of a prospect. You watch him on film and it doesn’t seem real. But the attention, offers and intrigue is all very real.

might be the biggest wildcard because we have no idea what he’s going to play at the next level. Terrell is also an outstanding basketball prospect and is starting to get attention for his play on the court, including offers that will not be slowing down anytime soon. But that doesn’t change the fact that Terrell is a very intriguing football prospect. And at the Class A level, you simply don’t see many football players like Terrell come around in a lifetime. He’s 6’8 and can absolutely fly when he gets the football. And he isn’t just a redzone target that is racking up all his catches near the goal line. He had a game earlier this season where he finished with two catches for 174 yards and both ended with him in the end zone. He’s incredibly unique.

is the first of two Pocola standouts that have become stars on the basketball floor. Terrell in particular has captured the attention of college coaches for his ability on the basketball floor but we still like him on the gridiron as well. On offense, he’s a match-up nightmare at tight end or when he flexes out to the wide receiver position. This spring, Terrell absolutely exploded as a defensive lineman during team camps. He terrorized the opposing offensive linemen and was making a massive impact in the backfield. It’s going to be interesting to see if Terrell’s recruitment starts to take off in football, like it has in basketball. There are quite a few dual-sport prospects in the state’s 2025 class that could end up earning D1 offers in both sports.

. Now, full disclosure, we also handle the ranking updates on the basketball side with Prep Hoops Oklahoma and Terrell would also qualify as a “Stock Riser” in basketball as well. He’s having a fantastic sophomore season on the hardwood. So it’s going to be interesting moving forward to see how Terrell’s recruitment goes in the future because he has a chance to receive interest in both sports. Terrell is a very tall prospect that is a red zone nightmare for defenses. Pocola has a few prospects that are dual-sport stars and might have their choice of which sport they would like to play at the next level. Right now if we had to pick one sport over the other for Terrell, we’d probably lean to basketball.Access all of Prep Redzone
