Hunter was one of the top producers for SLAM’s defense this season, totaling 50 tackles and 7 INTs from his CB spot. He’s a fluid defender in coverage that can change gears when mirroring patterns and turn-and-run with WRs downfield. He shows instincts and quickness coming out of his zone responsibility to make plays on the ball and finishes turnovers with plus-side ball skills. He’s a strong tackler in the flat that attacks ball-carriers downhill and shows straight-line speed when closing space. Hunter’s size (5’7”/140) might limit his potential suitors but his natural skillset and athleticism are definitely worth a look for programs looking to add to their secondary.
