ended up being arguably the biggest breakout player for the Wolves last season. He was stepping into some big shoes after the graduation of Brenden Rawls and he absolutely excelled. He finished the year with over 1,000 yards and 20 touchdowns as a sophomore. At this time last year, we mentioned that Rogers could be that guy for the Wolves at the running back position but we didn’t expect that kind of production right away from the sophomore. Now, he has two more years of high school football left and behind an offensive line that brings everyone back, we could be looking at the beginning of a monster junior year this fall.

is one of the guys they expect to take that next step this season. Rogers would earn playing time last season and he would end up playing meaningful minutes throughout the 2024 season as a freshman. Rawls was a guy that Davis could hand the ball to and almost be guaranteed 4-5 yards, if not more. They’ll have to replace that consistent production. It won’t be with one guy but maybe Rogers is a guy that ends up breaking out this fall.
