About Corbin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a quick decision maker who can read defenses pre-snap well. I am a leader who is always holding my teammates accountable and well as keeping a positive presence

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a competitor. I battled for a starting job my sophomore year. I stay focused on my goals so I can lead the team on offense. I love my teammates and like to have fun on the field

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Younglife, and bible study

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Starting as a Sophomore QB in 6A football made me become a leader quickly. I had to learn how to be a field general quickly and gain the respect of our upperclassmen. This only made my work ethic and training more important, because I want this team to be successful under my leadership for three years.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Winning the starting job after splitting time the first five games was certainly a challenge. But the bigger challenge was helping lead our team from being 0-5 to wining four straight games and taking Farragut to the playoffs.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to commit to a program that allows me to compete for a starting job, and continues to develop my talent and football IQ. I want a relationship with a coaching staff, where I am coached hard and supported.

Hobson is a well-developed QB prospect and durable presence in the pocket at 6’3 210. Should be considered a pocket-passer, but he is equipped with the twitch and quickness in his hips to flip back to a clean base and click onto another receiver. He has a quick release and throws a smooth, catchable ball with adequate arm strength. He can touch each level of the field, but looks best in the short and intermediate areas where he can put his twitch and quick release to work. Holds D1 offers and projects as a dispenser at QB.
