He was productive as a sophomore last season, totaling 24 tackles, nine being for a loss and three sacks in 10 games. The junior had a good offseason, refining his skills and getting ready for what could be a great season for his team.

Pasley is a massive defensive tackle, standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 317 pounds. He’s one of the elite run stuffers in Tennessee, but has good athleticism and quickness for his size.

The 2028 prospect slimmed down this offseason, which should help him become even better. He holds two Division I offers, but more will be coming his way soon.

When he gets moving, he can effectively pursue ball carriers. He can continue to improve his initial pushback and ability to disengage from blocks quicker especially at that size, but the long-term potential could be attractive.

Pasley caught my eye at the line of scrimmage with his ability to swarm the running back in the pocket and make significant tackles. Pasley’s strength and durability in the pocket also made a considerable difference.

Out of all the Defensive Linemen on this 2024 8th Grade Tennessee Future Stars team, and in this write up, there is the prospect to know. Pasley how quickly outgrown the Linebacker position we had him previously listed at, having grown two inches and up 25-30 pounds in the last six months. Pasley just has that “IT” factor that the great ones have. It doesn’t matter if he’s listed a Linebacker/Running Back prospect (as he used to be) or now being listed as a straight-up D-Line prospect, he’s the unquestioned Alpha Male on this defensive front. Honestly, he could play either Defensive End or Defensive Tackle at this point–and while it’s an uphill climb for a Defensive Lineman to be named MVP–Pasley has the ability to get it done. I’m very high on him.
