When he gets moving, he can effectively pursue ball carriers. He can continue to improve his initial pushback and ability to disengage from blocks quicker especially at that size, but the long-term potential could be attractive.

, a defensive lineman at Bradley Central Middle School. Pasley caught my eye at the line of scrimmage with his ability to swarm the running back in the pocket and make significant tackles. Pasley’s strength and durability in the pocket also made a considerable difference.

Out of all the Defensive Linemen on this 2024 8th Grade Tennessee Future Stars team, and in this write up, there is the prospect to know. Pasley how quickly outgrown the Linebacker position we had him previously listed at, having grown two inches and up 25-30 pounds in the last six months. Pasley just has that “IT” factor that the great ones have. It doesn’t matter if he’s listed a Linebacker/Running Back prospect (as he used to be) or now being listed as a straight-up D-Line prospect, he’s the unquestioned Alpha Male on this defensive front. Honestly, he could play either Defensive End or Defensive Tackle at this point–and while it’s an uphill climb for a Defensive Lineman to be named MVP–Pasley has the ability to get it done. I’m very high on him.

is one of those kids that everybody notices when they walk in the gym or onto the field. At 6-foot and 240 pounds, he’s one giant muscle that spends obvious time in the weight room with his recent 415-pound deadlift. Also a baseball and track and field athlete, he’s something special to be seen. Anointed as “the leader of our defense” by his coach Kevin Green, Pasley was one of five bears that were named East Tennessee All-Stars this season. He led the team in tackles from the middle linebacker position and also tallied three takeaways (1 – INT, 2 – FR). He also happened to be second on the ream in receptions, averaging 16 yards per catch. After his regular season accolades, he was also selected as the MVP and 1st Team All-Camp at the Prep Redzone Next Middle School Camp in Tennessee this past January.
