So much of Westfield’s success or failure will depend on how the 6-foot-2, 170-pound quarterback performs. Melvin, like his older brother, is a legit dual-threat with a cannon for an arm. He has great deep-ball accuracy and is very shifty in space with the ball in his hands. He finished with 1,318 yards passing and 260 rushing yards last season. A breakout junior season could make him an elite-level recruit.
