San Ramon Valley class of 2028 receiver Colton Fitzgibbon Colton Fitzgibbon 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR San Ramon Valley | 2028 State CA announced his commitment to Oklahoma on Wednesday.

Fitzgibbon has caught 12 passes for 294 yards with five touchdowns for San Ramon Valley this season. Oklahoma offered him on August 22 and he also had offers from Cal, Oregon and New Mexico among others.

Fitzgibbon is the first player from California in Oklahoma’s 2028 recruiting class and the first receiver.

Fitzgibbon is one of the top players regardless of class in northern California and a excellent receiver that can lineup in the slot or on the outside. He is quick and shifty out of his stance, runs precise routes and is patient before stemming off with good foot speed and breaking abilities to the ball. He shows strong and consistent hands, highpoint abilities and tracks the ball well from various angles and shows home-run speed in the clear while able to make defenders miss in space. Downfield, he can create seperation and get off press coverage near the line, shows multiple releases and is comfortable with in-breaking and outbreaking routes while a big time YAC guy in open space. He is in line for a monster Junior season for this loaded 2028 class SRV has and should be fielding plenty of offers by the time this off-season rolls around.

Gifted athlete that took 44 receptions for 805 yards and 10 touchdowns. 6’0” 175 lbs. he’s a versatile weapon with a natural feel for the position. He shows fluid movement skills, strong body control, and great spatial awareness as a route runner. High IQ and plus instincts, he understands how to set up his routes with good use of stems, tempo changes, and positional leverage.
