About Collin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a 5'11 dual-threat quarterback known for high football IQ, accuracy, and playmaking ability. I make smart decisions under pressure, extend plays with my mobility, and consistently deliver the ball on time and on target. Confident reading defenses pre- and post-snap, and thrive in both spread and pro-style systems.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a disciplined, team-first competitor who leads by example and stays composed in high-pressure situations. I take pride in preparation, film study, and constant improvement. I’m coachable, confident, and bring energy and focus to every practice and game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Outside of football, I’m actively involved in my school’s Diversity Club and participate in multiple scholarship and leadership programs. I also volunteer regularly through my local church, giving back to the community through service projects and outreach.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through football, academics, and community service, I’ve developed strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. I’ve learned how to lead in the huddle, support my teammates, and stay accountable on and off the field. Volunteering has taught me humility, discipline, and the importance of giving back.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is being underestimated due to my height as a quarterback. I’ve used it as motivation to sharpen my decision making, footwork, and film study. I’ve learned to let my performance speak for itself and focus on what I can control, preparation, effort, and leadership.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that will challenge me both academically and athletically. I want to be part of a competitive football program with a strong team culture and coaching staff that values development. Academically, I’m interested in a school that offers strong support, diverse opportunities, and a positive community where I can grow as a student-athlete and a person.
