Green is one of the top backs out of the Chicago area. The 5’8″ 185 pound running back has quick feet and makes guys miss in the hole. Spin moves, and overall is so difficult for defenders to get a clean hit on. Accelerates while making the cut. Can get to the perimeter when needed and is a capable pass catcher.

Jaylin was a problem on the Brother Rice JV team. The 2026 jumps off the tape compared to those around him. I wouldn’t even say that power is one of his main strengths, but compared to his opponents last fall Jaylin was more developed in that area and it allowed him to run through a lot of arm tackles while keeping his balance. Where his real strengths are is his athleticism. Both long speed and his short area agility make him a nightmare to contain. He turned a lot of small seams into big plays with pure speed or by making defenders miss and then accelerating. I’m excited to see if he gets varsity action as a junior. Check out the exiting sophomore tape here.

Green is a 5’7, 175 lbs running back out of Brother Rice. He dominated at the JV level last season, showing off his elite combination of strength and elusiveness. All it takes is a little bit of space for Green to get going, as he is strong enough to run through arm tackles while shifty enough to create space out of thin air. What stands out most about his game is his vision, as Green can see cut back lanes without looking to open up big play potential. He also displays tremendous speed. This impressive tailback in Green is poised for a monster junior campaign next fall.

It will be interesting to see if Jaylin makes the move up to varsity this fall. The sophomore RB was electric at the JV level this past fall. His mix of vision, agility, and burst made him a nightmare to contain. Even between the tackles, Jaylin is quick to identify blocks and finds the daylight quickly. Once he finds those he can either accelerate or make a juke/jump cut and then accelerate out of it. Jaylin also ran through arm tackles surprisingly easy. Jaylin could make an excellent change of pace back.
