Everyone knew about Elijah Thomas last season but it was freshman quarterback Cole Rolland Cole Rolland Cole Rolland QB Checotah | 2028 State OK getting him the ball. The Wildcats trusted their freshman signal caller and he delivered, specifically in the playoffs. And because he had the best player in the state, Rolland produced at a high level in 2024. He threw for nearly 2,700 yards and 33 touchdowns. When it comes to quarterbacks going into this season, he’s definitely one that we want to see because like we’ve mentioned, it’s not easy to replace a guy like Thomas. Rolland will need to find chemistry with new playmakers. But we think that this year, he’ll become more of a complete threat at the QB posiiton.
