The Wonders also had a pretty conservative gameplan which didn’t allow CJ to show too much in the game, but he did record a nice touchdown pass in the red zone which was setup on some nice screen action to deceive the defense. Otherwise, I thought CJ did what he could with running the football from the quarterback position – the Wolverines’ defense didn’t give him much of an opportunity to show what he could do in space. CJ missed a couple of down field throws that could have kept the chains moving for the Wonders, but his arm strength was impressive.

CJ has committed to NC State to play baseball – he is an excellent pitching prospect, which usually makes for a very talented quarterback due to their ability to throw from multiple arm angles. CJ has offers to play football for Charlotte, Eastern Kentucky, and Liberty which speaks to his overall talent on the gridiron. As a quarterback, CJ has a strong arm and shows dual-threat ability to keep drives going in critical situations.
