Benton was a guy I thought had all the natural athleticism to have a breakout sophomore season. Slender frame last January and tested out Top 10 in the 40-yard dash and had the 2nd best overall broad jump at 10’0. Showed good footwork.
Update: Benton is up to 5’10 170 and looks good with added weight. No stats available from Central Gwinnet but did watch some film. Was a good between the tackle back with excellent vision at the line of scrimmage and good explosion. 69th overall ranked player in the 2027 class.
