Mills is a 4-year starter for Central Gwinnett who enters his senior year committed to Arkansas State. He is a true ball hawk, and coaches recognize him as the “brains” of the secondary. When I wrote about Mills earlier this summer, I recognized him as the X factor for this team, citing his versatility and aggressiveness in coverage, not just as a tackler. Hearing he is smart and a leader only validates that claim for me.

Mills is an athletic, versatile player coming off a productive fall and has several offers under his belt. He is a long, physical corner who isn’t afraid to get physical at critical points of the route, using his hands to manipulate receivers. He is a willing player as a tackler, exploding downhill and hitting with intent. I love his tape at corner, but it’s his ability to impact the game at each level from that position that makes him an X factor.

Long, physical corner. Quick, efficient footwork to help him match routes and stride. Gets physical in his routes, especially when he attaches at the top of the route. I thought Mills was an FBS-caliber player when I watched him last month, and a few recent offers are backing that up.
