Roberts wasn’t perfect — two early interceptions nearly cost the Saints — but he rebounded. For what it’s worth, one of the interception was a pass that his receiver tipped. His 32-yard touchdown pass to J.J. Tidwell gave St. Christopher’s the first lead, and his 8-yard rushing score in the fourth quarter was the dagger. Roberts’ running ability added balance to the offense, especially on RPOs and quarterback keepers. He showed composure in key moments, which separated him from Bullis’ quarterback play. Roberts completed 8-of-18 passes for 107 yards and a touchdown and added 65 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. That, my friends, is a true dual-threat.

is a baller end of story, I got to see his skill set up close two weeks ago at the Virginia Showcase. A dual threat passer, this kid is tough as nails, reminds me of a young Baker Mayfield. The way he navigates the pocket and is always looking downfield, very impressed with the poise and maturation he displays.
I got to see his big arm in Harrisonburg earlier this month and he earned a top performer spot with the quarterbacks. What makes that standout even more is the group of signal callers he was with were amongst the best in the state and he was just as good. Expect to hear a lot more on Roberts this next year, he is the real deal.

walked up to the PRZ Virginia StockUp Showcase and showed out. St. Christopher’s School’s lead man behind center put on a show this past weekend, firing off corners and slants with authority. A rifle of an arm, heard his passes zip by. Accounted for just under 2,000 yards and just under 20 TDs as a junior. The chance to take a peek into his testing numbers has eluded me, yet a later piece will dive into his athletic performance. I’m interested because Roberts is a legitimate dual-threat over at SCS. Was very pleased to see him show up here. He’ll have us in his back pocket moving forward. I’d say Roberts’ release is second to

‘s (below) in terms of efficiency, quickness, and repeatability. Excited to get him ranked in the future.

Chase’s first season as Saint Christopher’s QB has started off well for him. He is showing good poise in the pocket, keeping good balance and bend in his knees, feeling pressure, and maneuvering the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield. He has good accuracy on his throws keeping the ball away from defenders. He has helped lead St. Christopher’s to a 4-4 record and they have a big game this Saturday against North Cross.

Chase is transferring to Saint Christopher’s this fall and reclassing to the class of ’26. He is a solid athlete who has the ability to move in the pocket to avoid pressure and can roll out and make an accurate throw while on the run in both directions. Displays good arm strength to make throws on all levels on the field. He displays solid accuracy to his receivers or can add zip to the ball to get it to them quickly and can put air under the pass to lead them in the route. He looks to make the throw but shows solid ability as a runner if there are no open receivers to create positive yards on the play. He is a name to watch this fall and one who will be in our updated rankings.
