Speaking of the Quakers, UPenn wasted no time in offering the Slinger product as they reached out with a roster spot in November of 2021 after Charlie visited big bro in Philly. The 6’4, 305 lb. weight room monster has had a busy fall on the recruiting trail and has earned game day visits to Notre Dame, Minnesota, and Illinois in September or October. In two years of varsity action so far, Hoitink has played center, RG, and RT, and his 10th grade film displays a light-footed puller who is dominant at the point of attack. He’s got solid leg drive and hand placement, some decent pass-pro tape as a tackle, and a good motor. If he can keep adding strength and play a little lower he’s going to have that first scholarship offer in no time. You got big fans at PRzWI, Charlie!

The 6’4″ 305 lbs sophomore has slid out to guard after starting at center a s a freshman. Charlie is going to be firmly in the race for #1 prospect in the Class of 2025 his whole high school career. He has had elite size and length since he stepped on a high school field. The tools are giving a look into a bright future for the underclassman. His lower body footwork and technique is clean and gets him to where he needs to be efficiently. Charlie’s ability to completely overpower defensive linemen with his big hands, frame, and raw strength. The development of this stud is going to be fun to watch. He has had an offer from Penn sine his freshman year, and many more will be joining them.
