The two times I have made the trip to Menomonie this summer for the UW-Stout Prospect Camp, there’s been a plethora of running backs that powered my attention and this time around my selection for MVP was Appleton West’s Charlie Blevins Charlie Blevins 5'9" | RB Appleton West | 2027 WI . The 5’9 172 pounder was one that I felt was the most well-rounded running back in attendance from the reps I watched, as you had to be impressed with the sudden speed, elusive change of direction to the field the open field, and just was a flat-out sound finisher in every rep he was given on Thursday afternoon. His explosiveness was another area that stood out amongst the RB group, as surprisely the Blue Devils were the first to offer Charlie out of the WIAC as I love the amount of hidden gems I have seen at the last two camps in Menomonie like Charlie for example.
