Gilbert is one of the best players in Georgia, regardless of position. Here at PRZ, he has consistently been ranked as one of the best DBs in the state. He is smaller than other high-profile safeties in this class, but he can move. He is a sudden, explosive, speedy playmaker with the range to play the ball all over the field. He comes downhill violently both in coverage and as a tackler with the intent of striking and creating chaos. Gilbert can absolutely fly and is a fun watch.
