About Chance

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My style of play actually varies depending on the defensive scheme I’m up against. I’m a west coast, strong arm, read option - playmaker type of field general.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I was assigned to be a Quarterback at birth, which wasn’t revealed until the age of 5. I am The Chosen Cerebral Underdog. It’s NOT over until I win. I know HOW to win, and in the end I WILL win. Corinthians 12:9

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Office of Chaplain - DeMolay International/Charles M. Setzer Masonic Lodge #693, Charlotte, NC Mighty Men of Valor - Uplands Reach, Yadkinville, NC

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Character development via Special Olympics as a mentor, and cultivate communication outreach as a St. Jude’s pen pal.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The untimely passing of my best friend 02/2024 left a tremendous void, that I know now I’ll never be able to fill. It was little league football, South Charlotte Rams that brought us together. I’ve always trained and worked out hard, and now I go 3X’s as hard for US. #LLNas

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m an athletic scholar, who’s GAME READY. I’m looking for a competitive DI or DII program that is willing and able to offer (with guarantee) and provide me three major things: 1. Full Scholarship 2. REPS, REPS, REPS 3. Playing freshman year

I think Chance probably had the strongest arm out of this group of quarterbacks that I saw during the showcase. You can see Chance is performing with a lot of confidence; he has done well at previous showcases this offseason as well. I think college coaches are waiting to see some early-season game film on Chance, because the one thing he has to improve on is his decision-making during games. Otherwise, Chance has everything you want in a potential college quarterback. He just has to remain patient and get off to a good start this season, and I think offers will start coming his way.
