About Cash

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am blessed with the combination of being a high-motor and goal-driven athlete. I play an unrelenting style with speed, length, and a will to get to the ball. I believe in executing individual assignments and playing team ball to win games.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I thrive on the pursuit of improvement and truly enjoy the grind. Being the hardest worker in the room, in training, in practice, and on the field is something is strive for and take great pride in.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Honor Roll every semester of middle school and high school. First honor for weightlifting 2024.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Lumen Christi is built on developing disciplined student athletes on and off the field. We have mandatory community service hours each year of high school which teaches us to be servant leaders.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I broke my lower leg and tore a ligament in week 8 of my sophomore season and was forced to watch the playoff run and our State Championship win from the sideline. It was a very long recovery but with grit and strong family support, I was able to return to the basketball court in February and back to full speed football training by mid-March.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that feels like home and a program that celebrates academics, top tier player development, and coaches that push individuals to be their best.

Another special day for Cash in this one. It’s well documented, but I saw a lot of the same traits that I always look for in an elite EDGE. Great bend, tremendous motor and discipline. Cash does a great job of keeping offensive linemen from getting to his chest and gaining leverage, and when he sticks his foot in the ground and gets up field to crush the pocket, tackles struggle to stay in front of him without getting out of position and off balance. Cash did a great job in this one, and will be an anchor for this defense as we head into the playoffs.
