I had scouted Keegan last season, and came away really impressed with what he did in the middle of this JLC defense. This season, it seems he has taken that next step. Besides being a great run stuffer and gap controller, he caused a little more chaos and was even more disruptive than I remember him being last season. He looks bigger but also more physically fit and athletic. I loved the way he was able to get off the ball first and stay low as he shot the gap. Blockers had a hard time beating him to the point of attack. Great overall performance for Keegan. He’s a darkhorse for being one of the better defensive linemen in the state.
