Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I have always focused on having quick feet, perfect route running & creating space to offset my speed. It's not that I'm not fast but I'm not 4.4 speed but I am 4.6's. So I have to use the skills that I have to make sure that I'm always in the right spot. I also have great hands and I strong ability to read what the defense is giving me and how to attack it.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I consider myself a perfectionist that focuses on doing it right all the time. It always drives me nuts watching others cut corners on drills/lifting to finish first to look good. You are only hurting yourself when you do that. I might be a little quite but don't confuse that with not being a competitor. I love to win. I also am well liked and always there for my friends and teammates.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I've done numerous volunteer events with my team over the years. I also have been a part of Robotics from Elementary thru Junior Highschool years. I like to volunteer to help teach the younger football players in our youth leagues. I often helped my father when he coaches youth kids. Giving back always means a lot to me.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I think that sports has taught me not to panic when things go bad. I'm calm under pressure and I do not get overly excited or emotional about things that I can't control. I'm not that jump all over you teammate. I believe in letting my work do the talking and helping my teammates by supporting them. I play all WR positions and you'll often see me on video telling other WR's where they need to go.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I Injured my hamstring in April after having a great D2 camp showing. I was devastated knowing that my camp season was over before it started. I refocused my efforts on building relationships, college visit tours and showing up to camps even though I could not participate. It's hard watching camps knowing you can compete with anyone. But you have to control what you can control. So far 5 offers:)
What type of college are you looking for?
I'm honestly open. With my injury situation D3 schools have come to the forefront. I have some D2 interest as well. But I want to make sure that anywhere I go, the education is great. I also want to make sure that It has that college feel and a competitive team. Closer to home preferred but not afraid to go farther if it is the right school for me. My family fully supports me in my decision.
