About Carter

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a focused and disciplined multi-sport athlete with a passion for football. On the field, I am praised for being resilient, adaptive and a natural leader. I am excited to bring my competitive drive, strong work ethic, and inclusive leadership qualities to the collegiate level, where I aim to contribute meaningfully to both the athletic and academic communities.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I currently serve as a Community Captain, representing 4 houses & 65+ students, in Regina's House System, regularly lead/participate in service projects to benefit my community, and work part-time at my family's 4th gen. appliance business. Non-Sport Awards include: AP Scholar, with distinction (4+ on 5 AP exams), Gold Honor Roll, National Honor Society, and I was also elected Homecoming King.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

An injury kept me from playing high school football my junior year (2024), but I am happy to be back my senior year as a key contributor where I was able to help lead the team to an undefeated regular season (currently 10-0 leading into quarterfinals on 11/7)

What type of college are you looking for?

I am interested in attending an academically challenging college or university with a strong engineering program, where I can hopefully continue playing football at the collegiate level.
